ROAM Project at CLEO-PR, OECC and PGC 2017: Invited Talk

An invited talk will be given on ROAM project Progress by Prof. Antonella Bogoni at CLEO-PR, OECC and PGC 2017 (31 July - 4 August 2017 at Sands Expo and Convention Centre, Singapore)

The talk, "Progress in using the Orbital Angular Momentum of Light in photonic switching" will be inserted in the workshop "Advances in Structured Ligh", organized by Prof. Jian Wang, Huazhong University of Science and Technology (HUST), and will introduce the project and give more details about the main achievement in terms of photonics switching using OAM technology.

ROAM Project at Royal Society International Scientific Seminar Workshop 2016

Prof. Antonella Bogoni, Dr. Mirco Scaffardi and Prof. Siyuan Yu will introduce the ROAM Project at the Royal Society International Scientific Seminar Workshop, "Orbital Angular Momentum in Optical Fibre Communications", which will be held at Aston University, May 3-4, 2016

The invited talks will introduce the European H2020 ROAM project.

Prof. Antonella Bogoni will introduce the ROAM Project at the 21st European Conference on Network and Optical Communications (NOC 2016), which will be held in Lisbon, Portugal, from 1 to 3 June 2016.

The invited talk will introduce the European H2020 ROAM project: “Revolutionizing optical fiber transmission and networking using the orbital angular momentum of light”.

Prof. Antonella Bogoni will introduce the ROAM Project at the IEEE Optical Interconnects Conference (OI 2016), which will be held in San Diego CA from 9 to 11 May 2016.

The invited talk will present the objectives, the motivations and the results obtained within the European H2020 ROAM project: “Revolutionizing optical fiber transmission and networking using the orbital angular momentum of light”.

Dr. Bert Offrein will introduce the ROAM Project at Frontiers in Optics, which will be held in San Jose, CA, USA, 18-22 October 2015.

The Tutorial "Photonics for the Datacenters" will introduce some of the concept of the ROAM project

ROAM Project at ECOC 2015

Prof. Antonella Bogoni will introduce the ROAM Project at ECOC, the 41st Europeran conference on optical communication, which will be held in Valencia, Spain, from September 27th to October 1st 2015.

The Talk "The ROAM project: revolutionising optical fiber transmission and networking using the orbital angular momentum of light" is part of the Morning Symposium "Optical Communications and Networks for Datacenters", organized by Prof. Ken-ichi Kitayama, Osaka University, and Prof. Dimitra Simeonidou, University of Bristol, in remembrance of Professor Harm Dorren, a pioneer of Data Centre Technologies, Technical University of Eindhoven

Prof. Siyuan Yu and Prof Marc Sorel will also hold an invited talk about ROAM results entitled: "Photonic Integrated Devices for Exploiting the Orbital Angular Momentum (OAM) of Light in Optical Communications"

ROAM Project: invited talk at ICOAM 2015

Prof. LaRochelle will introduce the ROAM Project at the International Conference on Orbital Angular Momentum (ICOAM 2015), which will be held in New York, 4-7 August 2015.

The invited presentation will introduce the European H2020 ROAM project latest results: “Designing optical fiber for OAM mode transmission”.

ROAM Project: keynote speech at NOC 2015

Prof. LaRochelle will introduce the ROAM Project at the 20th European Conference on Network and Optical Communications (NOC 2015), which will be held in London, UK, from 30 June to 2 July 2015.

The keynote speech will introduce the European H2020 ROAM project latest results: “Spatial Division Multiplexing using Ring Core Fibers for OAM”.

ROAM Project: Postdeadline Paper at CLEO 2015

UoG and UNIVBRIS published a postdedline paper at The Conference on Lasers and Electro-Optics 2015, Munich, Germany, 21-25 June 2015.

The postdeadline paper is entitled: “Integrated Optical Vortex Vertical-Cavity Surface-Emitting Lasers”.

Prof. Siyuan Yu will introduce the ROAM Project at the SPIE OPTO, Photonics West 2015, which will be held in San Francisco, CA, USA, from 7 to 12 February 2015.

The invited talk will present the results obtained within the European H2020 ROAM project: “High index contrast integrated optics in the cylindrical coordinate”.
